Role:

Under general direction uses UGS’ Digital Product Development Solution (DPD) to develop or enhance customers engineering design or manufacturing process.

Descriptions:

·       Provides customers and sales reps with technical product advice and demo support during pre-sales discussions.

·       Answers prospects’ and salespersons’ product and solution questions.

·       Prepares and performs detailed solution/product demonstrations and product prototypes for prospects.

·       May provide installation support and post-sales consulting.

·       Prepare Demonstrations and Benchmarks according to the requirements as set by sales, pre sales support manager and customer.

·       Provide assistance to sales in the preparation of presentation, quotes and reports.

·       Maintain and develop a professional demonstration/demonstration environment, including both physical equipment and software/application environment.

·       Perform DPD Consulting duties as required.

·       Assist account managers with system and software configurations.

·       Assist and/or train the customers in the use of DPD applications

·       Uses DPD applications to assist customers with routine product design, tooling tasks and manufacturing operations.

·       Automates processes through design, development and implementation of routine front-end graphics, applications programs in one or more of the computer-aided environment.

·       Uses data exchange methodologies to facilitate effective data sharing between similar systems within the customers’ environment.

·       Complies with the quality system consistent with the requirements of the UGS Business Management System.

·       Provides timely feedback to management regarding issues affecting the quality of service to the customer.

Requirements:

·       University graduate in Mechanical or Manufacturing

·       4 to 9 years of experience in using UGS MCAD products, UG, NX CAD and CAM with a similar role or in a customer environment

·       Detail oriented with a strong desire to succeed

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skill in Chinese and English

·       Proven track record of achievement

·       Preferred industry background in automotive, aerospace or consumer products
